RGB LED wall washer lights are based on the additive color model in which red, green, and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colors for building facade. Therefore, these lights have the ability to change color, and vary their hue intensity.
In Ledsuniverse all types of lights, from Flood lights to Highbays, from Wall Pack to Strip Lights, etc, can be produced in RGB format, allowing for the light to assume different coloring.
RGB LEDs consist of one red, one green, and one blue LED. By independently attenuating each of the three, RGB LEDs are capable of producing a wide color gamut.
RGB LEDs can form White light by mixing differently colored lights; the most common method is to use red, green, and blue. Hence the method is called multi-color white LED. Because these need electronic circuits to control the blending and diffusion of different colors, and because the individual color LEDs typically have slightly different emission patterns (leading to variation of the color depending on direction) even if they are made as a single unit, these are seldom used to produce white lighting. Nonetheless, this method has many applications because of the flexibility of mixing different colors, and in principle, this mechanism also has higher quantum efficiency in producing white light.
